I am always on the hunt for good photoshop actions. I just stumbled across a free set at Wish Wish Wish,  a new blog find! You need to go check our Carries pretty photos and fun blog header! And yes, the photos above are of my family last christmas. Ever since we moved away from our personal photographer, aka my mom, we have been majorly lacking in the family photo department. I guess I am going to have to start setting the self timer, and pronto at that! I haven’t even started our christmas card yet! Sounds like a good weekend project to me!

Using photoshop actions to edit pictures is so fun! “Actions” are a series of recorded steps that make it real quick to edit photos! [one click] For me using photoshop actions is kind of like playing dress up! Pick out an outfit, try it on, see how it looks, then try out another!

You can get free photoshop actions from The Pioneer Woman and Addy Lane.  Addy Lane also has very good instructions on how to install the actions. Once the actions are installed you just open your photo and pick an action to test out!

So you take this original photo…

And your photo turns into …..
