Hello, Fall Printable [Free!]

Hi friends! Today I wanted to share a fall printable I made with you. I’ll have you know I got pretty homesick for fall weather while I was making this. I miss the boots, scarves, colorful leaves, and pumpkin smells. I never thought I would get sick of Hawaii’s warm sunny weather, but it seems I have. I’m craving some fall time!

Thinking …

+ I can hardly believe that it is July! Can you?

+ I wished I lived by my sister-in-law so she could help me whip up some of these patriotic cupcakesShe is an amazing cake/fondant decorator! I still might give them a whirl by myself but it will be my first time making marshmallow fondant. We will see how it goes! I’m hoping that the humidity doesn’t play havoc!

+ Mothering a two year old, especially while potty training, is like the ultimate patience tester. Thank heavens we finally figured out that toys are her style of bribe. (squirt guns & crazy straws). Or maybe reward is a better word then bribe. Either way, it’s finally working!

+ Although two year olds are a giant patience tester, they are also a crack up. Sophie says the funniest things! Yesterday … “My muscles are too tired” And then after spilling a little water on her dress “Oh my gosh. I am so freaking wet.” Always brings a smile to my face!

+  Thinking that this is going to be a good week! Hoping it is going to be filled with fireworks, sunny days, beach time, a Costco run, lots of work, and I am hoping to squeeze in time to re-design this blog. I have been re-designing it in my head for weeks now. ha!

Inspiration Binder :: Part 2

Remember when I told you about my Inspiration Binder? I recently poured over a new stack of magazines (thanks mom!) and found so many things that I loved! Of course I did my typical magazine routine. Thumb through the magazine, backwards. Yes, I know weird. But it just seems like the pages thumb better that way. Once I have gotten an “overview” of all the goodness then I start at the beginning  and actually read the magazine, word for word.

After reading the {above} stack of magazines there were several pages I needed to put into my inspiration binder. One of my favorites, and perfect for summertime, is the magazine page below (Somerset Life). They took glass bottles and decorated them with wash tape and filled them with fun summer flowers! If/when I make this project I will definitely shop for Washi Tape at Cute Tape. They have tons of fun patterns!

Great idea huh?
