1. WHERE DO YOU LIVE?
hawaii
2. WHAT MADE YOU MOVE TO HAWAII?
my husband is going to graduate school here.
3. WHAT KIND OF COMPUTER DO YOU HAVE?
i have a asus. i wish and dream of having a mac, but i don’t. sometimes i sneak and use my husbands mac when he isn’t looking! :)
4. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN BLOGGING?
i started my first blog, a blog about my family in jan. 2008.
5. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOUR NOT BLOGGING?
i love to spend time with my family! we like to watch movies, hang out at the beach, and play card games. in my “alone” time i like to read books and magazines [like where woman create] and i also love to bake. i have a chronic cookie dough addiction! :)
6. HOW DO YOU STAY ORGANIZED WHILE YOU RUN A BLOG AND BUSINESS?
while staying organized necessarily a “super fun” thing to do it is really important. keeping my blog/business organized helps me use my time as efficient as possible and makes it easier to balance all aspects of my life, … mom, wife, cook, cleaner, family accountant, ect. you can read more about how i stay organized here.
7. WHEN DID YOU START KEY LIME?
i started this business in early 2009.
8. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THE NAME “KEY LIME DIGITAL DESIGNS”
i chose to use the words “key lime” because key lime truffles from see’s candy are my favorite!!!
9. WHAT PROGRAM DO YOU USE TO CREATE YOU GRAPHICS?
photoshop cs5. i first started designing using gimp. it is a free program that uses layers just like photoshop. about the same time i started blogging i was taking a few classes to finish up my associates degree and had a little training in photoshop. both are really great programs! the key is to pick a program and learn it really well.
10. WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR FONTS?
i love love love love fonts. i notice fonts everywhere i go! my husband likes to make fun of me for commenting on fonts on billboards, signs, buses, fliers, ect. they are my fav! i get my fonts from all over the web.

11. CAN I HOST A GIVEAWAY ON YOUR BLOG?
yes, i am all about supporting other handmade shops/blogs! email me if you would like to host a giveaway on my blog and we can talk.
12. HOW DOES THE “CUSTOM DESIGN” PROCESS WORK?
my goal is to make my clients happy! i try to make the design process as easy for you as possible! you can read more details here.
13. HOW DO YOU GET ACCESS TO MY BLOG TO INSTALL MY CUSTOM DESIGN?
I will need you to add my email as a blog author under your blog. you can do that under settings > permissions. once you have added me as a blog author i will get an email to contribute to your blog. once i accept that invite [i will email you] you will have to go back into the blog permissions and make me an administrator.
with either option i promise you i will not read, write down, or mess with anything other than the design elements we have agreed on.
14. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BLOGGER AND WORDPRESS? WHICH ONE SHOULD I USE?

15. DO YOU DO CUSTOM WORDPRESS DESIGNS?
YES!!
16. DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER BLOGS?
yes. while running two blog may seem a little crazy i also blog at mailbox moments. it is a blog where my mom and i write letters back and forth to each other. she lives in utah [where i grew up] and we like to share photos, recipes, diy ideas, and blog gossip with each other.
17. WHAT ARE YOUR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS?
i belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. you can read more about my beliefs here or you may email me ANY questions you might have.
18. IS MILK REALLY $5 A GALLON IN HAWAII?
Yep, sure is. Almost everything is more expensive in Hawaii although milk is the extreme.
