Some things I have noticed trending recently in blog and web design…
1. Block style fonts – Particularly Bebas Neue 2. Handwriting on post photos 3. Triangles 4. White blog backgrounds + plenty of white space in designs. 5. Hand illustrated graphics 6. Hashtags [and backslashes] used in design and posts to emphasize 7. Arrows

I have noticed everything you mentioned except the triangles. I’ll watch for those. I admit, I have used a few of the things you mentioned.
